Should you take Jamaal Charles, Eddy Lacy, Adrian Peterson, or Le’Veon Bell first overall? Who cares? They are all fantastic players who, if they stay healthy, will all put up huge numbers. The only wrong answer is spending too much time trying to figure out which one to take. Pick a name out of a hat and get it over with.
The more enjoyable and important question to investigate is who are your sleepers? We are talking about late round picks that turn into dependable starters and mid-round picks that turn into top-end superstars.
How about a Super Bowl winning quarterback who had over 4,400 yards last year and can be had at the end of a draft? Or a mid-round second-year receiver who will out perform the three second-year receivers drafted before him?
Check out our list of the top 11 sleepers in fantasy football.
11. Ryan Tannehill
Ryan Tannehill has been slowly improving on the football field and the fantasy rankings since he came into the league in 2012. Now in his second year with his offensive coordinator, Tannehill looks to build on a 2014 season that saw him finish 9th among quarterbacks in fantasy points. Adding new weapons Greg Jennings, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills, and tight-end Jordan Cameron, along with a competent run game, will give Tannehill every chance to be a success. Factor in the running ability of this former college receiver and you have the recipe for a quarterback that could finish right behind the elites in fantasy value.
