3. Albert Haynesworth (DL Washington Redskins 2009)
We all remember the Albert Haynesworth saga in Washington. Haynesworth was one of many awful decisions made by owner Daniel Snyder. The Redskins gave Haynesworth $41 million in guaranteed money of a $100 million contact. He was a dominating force prior to coming to Washington, but he was too much of a headache to make the signing worthwhile. Haynesworth couldn’t get along with coaches Jim Zorn and Mike Shanahan and caused problems in the locker room. Haynesworth was unproductive in Washington and was eventually traded to New England in 2011 for the equivalent of a pack of smokes. His attitude cost him a potential Hall of Fame career.
