6. Injury Risk
Peyton Manning has struggled at the end of the last two years due to injuries. The toll of the long season means that right when fantasy playoffs are starting, Manning’s stats are starting to slip. Like Manning, Tom Brady is completely dependent on his offensive line to keep him upright. The inability for the two old QBs to avoid the rush means they are just one big hit (legal or otherwise) from heading to the sideline. Aaron Rodgers can avoid the rush, in fact, he’s one of the best in the game at keeping plays alive. But two years ago, he was caught by a Bears’ defensive lineman and broke his collarbone. Will he be caught and hurt again this year?
