5. 1991 Washington Redskins
Although the Cowboys dominated most of the 1990s, perhaps the greatest team during that era came out of Washington, D.C. The 1991 Redskins outscored their opponents 485-224, which averages 17 points per game for their 17 wins. The team that had eight Pro Bowl selections ripped through the Falcons and Lions in the NFC playoffs, before dismantling the high-potent Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl 26. The 1991 Redskins beat the three playoff victims by a combine score of 102 to 41. The 91 ‘Skins were known for having on of the greatest offensive lines in NFL history.
