7. C.J. Anderson
The primary running back in a Peyton Manning or a Gary Kubiak offense is going to be a good fantasy player. Combine the quarterback and coach, which is the situation in Denver this year, and you have the recipe for a great season by the primary back. The problem is there is no certainty that C.J. Anderson will remain the starter for the whole season. Its not always the most talented running back that succeeds in Kubiak’s zone-blocking scheme. Plus, currently behind Anderson on the depth chart is Montee Ball, who the Broncos spent a 2nd round pick on just three years ago. If C.J. Anderson is the starter from week 1 to week 17, then he will be able to justify being drafted in the first two rounds, but that is no guarantee.
