Twelve wins in an NFL head coaches first two seasons is enough to get almost anyone fired, but Steve Spurrier made it easy by believing he could transform Danny Wuerffel into an NFL quarterback. Woefully equipped for the rigors of the NFL head coaching lifestyle, Spurrier left far too much of the game planning under the auspices of similarly outclassed assistant coaches. Redskins owner Dan Snyder has made a number of questionable hires, but Spurrier tops the list.
